Can one use dropbox to get bookshare .brf's in to in turn read with the
braille display? I tried doing the old resave the xml in firefox trick and
use calibre commandline to make Epub, but I don't like the way Ibooks
hyphenates words across even page lines at times.

I'm sure those books won't play with the BARD app. When you download a
book from BARD, the final step bARD Mobile takes is to download an
authorization key for that book. Since Open Library doesn't have these
keys, it can't give them to BARD Mobile, so there's no way for BARD Mobile
to decrypt the books.
