Yes, Apple recommends the following hardware solution available at your favorite Home Depot or other hardware store: 15oz High Velocity Hammer <http://www.homedepot.ca/product/15oz-high-velocity-hammer/953820> This is guarantied to turn your alarm off permanently. OK, joking aside, I just set an alarm to go off a minute later so I could check and I had both "Snooze" and "OK" on the lock screen. If you are on Snooze swipe right once to get to OK, double tap it and the alarm is off until the next recurring time and your iPhone lives to wake you up another day *smile*. Now all I see is a snooze button, and not a shut off button. Is there something I'm missing?
