iTunes uses the meta data in each file to organize your songs in it's
library. There may be other options, but you could update the meta data
in your songs. I believe a program like windows Media Player or Winamp
has an option where you can use the file structure to update the meta
data. It's been years since I've done this, and I'm not sure which
program I used, if it was even under windows. I'm sure others on the
list can help, but maybe this points you in the right direction.

Hello
i have a large collection of songs that are not organized into albums. i
categorized them in folder and tried copying them to my iphone through
the itunes library. however, when i went to check them in the music app,
i found out that the folder structure i made was not preserved. files
have been randomly placed and i don't know what to do to them.
do you know any app that let me copy folders to my iPhone and preserve
the same folder structure without depending on the i3-d tags? or do you
have any other solution?

Warmest Regards
