Good evening all.
Over the last day or so I have been trying to assist friend and fellow
list member Hannah Day get iMessage working via her Apple Id. Well over
24 hours has passed and, as Apple stated on their support pages, she can
now receive iMessages from her Apple Id! Yes!
Thank you all for trying to assist in this matter. We're so glad that
it's now working.
So there you have it. If you have an iPhone and you wish to activate
iMessage using your Apple Id, please give it 24 hours or so before
trying it. Before then people will try to send you an mms, which may
incur charges.
