I'm assuming it's an audio book. You need to double the book shelf tab. That will open up a list of the books you have downloaded to your iPhone. Double tap with 1 finger the title you want to read. That will bring up a page of information telling you the book's ISPN number and what the book is about as well as other information. Flick right with 1 finger until you get to the button. I don't remember if it's marked play or not but what ever it is, that's what it amounts to. -------
