I suspect the extra sounds are because Apple implemented containers on
the iPhone. containers are just groups of like objects, and you now get
a little chirp when you move from one container to another. For example,
when you move into or out of the dock at the bottom of the screen or
into or out of the virtual keybaord.

Subject: Re: Alphabet Gone On Telephone Keypad Again
I could have sworn I've heard those letters since upgrading to IOS 7, but
you're right, I'm not
hearing them now, and I do have hints turned on in my voiceOver settings.

Hi Everyone,
Before upgrading to IOS7, I turned hints on settings. The letters on
the telephone keypad are gone again. I have checked the settings
several times and turned my phone off. The letters are not coming back.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
