Probably the best thing to do is to just take it for a spin and see how
it works.
If you take Isaac's example and open up the Mail app and go into a mail
message then you'll have four containers on the screen. the first
container will include the controls like back, previous and next. the
next container is the message headers, like to, from, subject, .... The
third container is the message body and the fourth container is the
controls on the bottom like move, delete and reply.
If you open up a mail message and twist the roter around to container
then one flick down will take you to the message headers, the next flick
down will take you to the message body and the third flick down will
take you to the message controls at the bottom.
I personally don't use containers too much on my iPhone. I can get to
the first container just by touching the top of the screen, the last
container just by touching the bottom of the screen, the message body by
touching the middle of the screen and so on. Again, this is using the
Mail app as an example.

Can you be a bit more specific?

Containers are used to move from one area of the application to
another mail is a good application that you can use containers.

Hi all,
Did anyone find a useful application of the new container rotor setting
on
the iPhone? I know it was an iPad feature before iOs 7 but, since I
hardly
use an iPad, this does not give me any clues about how best to take
advantage of this.
Thanks,
