I've wondered if the advertisements at the bottom of the screen are
being updated periodically and that's causing VoiceOver to refresh it's
focus.
So Cristóbal and AppleVis are saying this doesn't occur with the paid
version of Feeddler. I should probably upgrade anyway to support the
developer of an app I've come to depend on so much. It doesn't seem like
someone should have to upgrade though because of this behavior in voiceOver.

agree it makes reading news feeds on the iPhone impossible, at least
with Feeddler and Tweetlist.
