Ben, I feel stupid so I would rather not, but since you asked. Found the solution by accident. I switched my typing off touch typing last night as I just hate the way the native keyboard and the edit fields work now. Most of the time I use mBraille, but when I use the native keyboard I don't want things moved around. Anyway, locked the screen and when I unlocked of course it did not work. It was only when I accidentally touched with another finger and heard the number entered with a click that I understood I had to double tap on each number as I turned off touch typing. In my defense, I did not know it would be that way on the locked screen, but of course it was. All I can say for the edit fields is thank goodness for mBraille. I have sent a few posts with lines into the email below my entry and also at the end, part mixed with the post below and in the same post with some of it at the end. At least taking it out of touch typing helps some. I just do not understand what is going on with edit fields. I would rather use touch typing if someone can give me a way not to move what I have written to another part of whatever I am in. A long way to say, mia culpa! Finding another way to do something.
