If someone takes your phone to use it fraudulently then they'll have
access to your contact information, so I don't think they'll have too
much trouble getting to this information whether you set up a
relationship in Siri or not. You could always set up a passcode if
you're worried about it or get a 5x with the finger print scanner. This
doesn't provide the greatest amount of security, but it'll keep the
casual person from doing too much damage with your phone. You have to
balance security with convenience. It's like the battery issue. If you
go too far then you're severely limiting the usefulness of your device,
but it's up to each person where to draw that line.

Hello,
You tell Siri something like Jane Doe is my mother, Sandy Smith is my
sister, and Jim Dale is my brother. You need the individual in your
contact list before doing this though.
Once set up you can say call my mother, text my sister, and email my
brother. I am not sure if there are more options, but these are the
ones I use.

Good morning all.
How exactly do I use the relationships feature of Siri?
I'm asking this as I asked Siri to text my eldest sister. He then asked
who he should send the message to and that he needs a name, e-mail or
phone number. However he knows who my eldest sister is and she is in my
contacts. I tried asking him to text my youngest sister but the same
happened. He also knows who my father is but not tried that yet.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!
