I recently started using an app called moves. I believe it was free and it is pretty accessible. You just put it in your pocket and let it record not only your steps but the amount of time you've walked the calories you've burned and one other thing I can't remember at the moment. Smile. Sometimes it might not register very very small box stuff like say, for one minute or so. But I have found it to be quite revealing about how much or how little I have walked in the day. I hope this helps.

I am wanting to get an accessible pedometer app. I have tried searching on the App Store but over 300 results show up. I've looked on AppleVis, but most of the apps that come up are several years old. I want an ap that will count my steps and tell me the distance that i have walked. I do not want one of the exercise games. Also,if the app were free that would be good too. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 7, for whatever that's worth.
