Good point, but it's convincing your friends that you aren't going to use

The app "find My Phone" does need to be downloaded onto the phone. I am not
sure of all of the procedures, but it was very simple to set up. Also, there
is another app call "find My Friends." It was recommended to install this
app and to have all phones in the family, plus friends invited. This way you
can immediately start tracking a stolen phone. In my son's case. he stated
that there wasn't much battery left on it, so I had a small window to work
with. I really need to check to see if all of my info is current and update
it if need be. HTH.
