Hi Patty, If Tap Tap See or Camfind don't give you the information you could try Talking Goggles and see if you can get it via OCR, I guess if you had Prizmo you could try that, too.
However, in a case like that I think using the help of somebody with real eyeballs and human speech rather than something with a lens and a TTS is always the easiest. If nobody is there you could always call a friend or relative who uses Skype or has an iPhone and use Facetime to show the box to somebody in a video call, then once identified mark it for future use. As awesome as the iPhone is and as much independence as it offers in many ways, it still is not and never will be replacement for the occasional human interaction, at least I hope not.
