Sally, I made the same mistake and was nicely given the correct information on this list. You don't have to do anything once you press unlock. Well, I have never done this from snooze, but basically, the press of the unlock button stops the alarm. At that point, you can go on using it or press the lock button to lock it again. In either case, the alarm will be off.
