Hi Kliphton, When I set up my account selecting Outlook.com as the account type I only had to put in my email address and password, the rest just worked.
I think I know what you are talking about because I think Outlook.com also offers 2-step authentication and I tried this and downloaded one of these apps, but I couldn't get anywhere with it and turned it back off. You have to do that on the outlook.com website.
