Hi, if you go into settings, for example, and go to something like general,
and then press the back button, you are either where you left off or very
close. However, if you start swiping to the right, you go back to the
beginning of the list. If, however, you touch the screen before beginning to
swipe, you are where you left off, or at least very close. I don't know if
where you tap makes a difference in that if you actually tap on the last
item you were on, you would be exactly where you left off. But if you're
swiping, you may not know where on the screen that is. So, if I simply touch
in the middle of the screen, for example, I have never been more than one or
two items off, rather than being back at the beginning of the list.

Perhaps others can comment on this further.

Neal

We've been asking for this for years, so glad it finally but finally
appeared.

Subject: VoiceOver Remembering Place in Articles List upon Completion of
Read Article

Hello, everyone.

I notice that after reading an article in an RSS news reader, pressing the
"back" button to access the list of articles causes VoiceOver to speak the
title of the article just read. In other words, VoiceOver is remembering
the place I left off in the list before selecting an article to read. I
don't recall previous iOS versions working like this. This recall ability
in iOS 7.02 is a really helpful feature.
Is it indeed new, or is my memory deceiving me? Does it have implications
in other contexts besides RSS readers?

Thank you for all help.

Craigg
