I am experiencing the same things you are. and, if you want to have some fun … flip through your camera roll and stumble across a video … things will lock up quickly :). The only sure fix is for blind people not to record video :). not gonna happen given the high quality and ease of use of the iPhone … let the team at apple know and cross fingers :).
