I don't use Outlook, but I'd check your Outlook settings for your Gmail
account. Your incoming mail will come from an IMAP or POP server, while
you're outgoing email will go through an SMTP server, so the fact that
you can send and receive email from your iphone and can send mail from
Outlook points to your IMAP or POP settings in Outlook. You can use
Google to find tons of articles on what your IMAP/POP settings should be
for Outlook.
