Hi Joanne, Theoretically you should just be able to use the volume buttons to increase or decrease the volume while a call is going on. Having said this, there definitely seem to be a few issues with Voiceover volume and other volume levels in iOS 7. If, for example, I turn down the volume when I am playing an Audible book, Voiceover volume goes down as well even if Voiceover is not even speaking. This should not be happening and I just send a message to Apple Accessibility about that. Hopefully others do as well and this is fixed soon. But you should still be able to lower the volume of a Facetime Audio call or increase the volume of a Skype call while the call is in progress. I actually just checked this by placing a call to the Sound Test service and I was able to increase and decrease the volume while the announcement was speaking with my phone held to my ear and using the volume buttons.
