If it's a text file, just load the text into a different app and ignore the daisy altogether. Some of the modern note/editor apps offer this, and there's good readers too. YOu sort the granularity of the reading with the VO rotor. An app with a text search would help so you get to your place quicker. noteMaster and Drafts can do this I think. Read2Go can maybe, it is certainly meant to be a text reader.
