The phones do this,  they switch the charging circuit on and off as needed;
so if it runs a little with charging circuit off, the charge will go down a
little even though connected. But it'll come back on and top up again.
Oddly, mine sometimes does say something like 100%, on AC power. Other
times, it'll say 100% charging.

Go figure!

Subject: charging battery from computer.

Hi all.
Today, I have been surprised with the battery charging with my computer. The
recharging should be something that is increasing little bit by little bit.
But today, I connected my iPhone, to my computer, and it was in 100%,
because I had it connected to the wall, for the whole night, and I was
trying to transfer some books, and songs. Well, after a while, I found the
battery in 98%. I am sure that when I connected my iPhone, it was in a
hundred%, whey the battery drop down been connected to my computer?
The transferring between my iPhone and computer drop down the battery, no
matter if it is connected to the USB port?
I never saw it with my other iPhone.
Why it happened?
Thanks
