Visit www.applevis.com. Search for "iOS primer" and read those, then search for 
"David Woodbridge". He should have some iOS getting started podcasts available. 
If not, Google can show you where they are. If possible, get to an Apple Store. 
Some employees have never heard of Voiceover, but some know it well and can 
instruct you on the basics. Failing that, call Apple Care and see if they can 
answer your questions or get you to a local accessibility department.
