Hello Troy and all: I do not know if you have solved your challenge with Navigon yet.
You must double tap the button that says select all maps. to know if you have done it correctly if you return to the button it will now say deselect all maps. then, if you double tap start download, the maps will begin to download. Now, there are two ways to verify that things are going well. first, if you flick right you will notice that the number of downloaded megabytes will change. they may not change quickly though they will change :). There is another way … I find this way more fun though I can understand why someone would not share my enthusiasm :). If you notice, the maps do not update in order. if you find Alabama for example, it will say 0 bytes of however many. if you slide your finger down the screen you will be able to see the different states as they update. for some strange reason Idaho was the first state to update for me :). go figure.
