If you wish to activate the notification center: 1. perform a double tap on the status bar. the status bar is the area were you hear things like how many bars you have, the network you are on such as AT&T 4G, the wifi network if you are connected . etc. 2. perform the 3 finger swipe down and you should hear . notification center. If you want to get to the control center, perform a double tap on the status bar and then perform a three finger swipe upward and that should do it :).
