It will say it's playing but nothing is heard.

When you say you can't play the station, what happens when you try?
I have seen iTunes radio stop after playing for a while. In my case, I
saw a prompt that said something like "still listening to iTunes
radio?" The two options presented were okay and stop. When I tapped
okay the music continued to play. I have never seen that prompt since.
