Hi John and Gerry, My original recommendation of a chess clock app (some months ago) was for use by someone on the MacVisionaries who wanted to play tournaments by Skype, similar to Gerry's comments. I'n not sure how Gabriel planned to use this, but he did ask for suggestions for an accessible chess clock app. I'll just add that recent model iPhones support the "Do Not Disturb" function. The Merkmatics Chess clock app that I recommended ($0.99) is also usable on an IPad or iPhone Touch. There's a detailed review up at AppleVis based on tests with the iPhone 5 and the iPad Mini. • AppleVis Review of the Merkmatics Chess Clock: http://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/utilities/merkmatics-chess-clock App Store link to MerkMatics Chess Clock ($0.99) https://itunes.apple.com/app/merkmatics-chess-clock/id347870076?mt=8
I think this has the most features, but a few free apps have been suggested that you can try. Sorry for inadvertently sending off an earlier incomplete post.
