I'm hoping someone can update me on how an iDevice user can do authorized content sharing with others. I remember in the early days of iPods when most iTunes Store music had DRM, that one could authorize a certain number of devices to have access to their library. I'm curious if this is still possible and if you have to go through iTunes to share a song whether it has DRM or not with another. Did we ever have the ability to share a song from iPhone to iPhone for instance without going through iTunes? I'm doubtful this has ever been possible but I seem to recall an ad for some electronic device being able to do this kind of thing.
