You can successfully rename your fingerprint(s). Look for the edit
button in the top left-hand corner and click on it. This will put you
into edit mode. Next, locate the finger you wish to rename. and click

to put voice over focus on it, and then double tap on it. Voicever will
then say, text field is editing. I then delete the text "finger X", and

Yes, just a few days ago, I redid my thumb. The second time around, I
made sure to have my thumb both sideways and straight on. It is more
natural for me to hold my phone with one hand and use my thumb at more
of an angle to unlock it.
