In IOS 6, I thought you could just lift your finger when you hear that you're on a folder or an app, but this doesn't work for me in IOS 7. If I just leave my finger in place, I do get the app moved into the folder or the new folder created though.

Unless I am mistaken your email says that someone sent “these” to you but I can’t find anything in the email about moving apps to folders. I am very interested in how to use the keyboard with the iPad. I finally had some luck creating folders manually on the iPad but it was a supreme test of patience with at least 5 failures for every successful move. What I discovered was that after it said “on such and such a folder” I had to start carefully moving my finger in little ever increasing squares until it finally said creating or opening folder. I can’t count how many times a drag turned into a delete query but I am a patient person. I figure that this incarnation I am to learn patience. LOL...I think...

When I got my Amazon Basics Bluetooth Keyboard, somebody sent these to me. Note I don't know which will and which won't still work in iOS 7. Never the less, it's worth what you paid for it so no harm done.

Is it possible to drag or move apps or create folders using a blue
tooth keyboard? I just got the Amazon Basics one and would like
to arrange the apps on my iPad. I am having great difficulty
doing this manually. I move one app onto another and it just sits
there even if I wiggle my finger a little as I think I saw as a
    suggestion previously on the list.
With the iPad it is really difficult to tell where icons actually
are on the screen. I much prefer my iPhone but my electronically
challenged husband is using the iPad and I need to simplify the
arrangement of the apps for him.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sherrie Gosling
