Have you tried the app for your airline? Besides offering gate info, many airline apps enable you to place a boarding pass in passbook, avoiding the check in counter. It’s really cool to flash my iPhone at the security checkpoint and at my gate and slide right on the plane with an app that has all my flight info. No paper, no hassles.
