On the keypad, below the 7 is a shift key. If you have touch typing on, just touch and lift so shift is selected, or double tap, then the 4 becomes a comma and the 7 becomes a star. You have to do the shift key for each comma or star since as soon as you enter one, the keypad flips back to numbers. HTH,
