The settings in Fantastical 2 that are improvements over the native calendar app, in my opinion: 1. You can set a default appointment length from 15 minutes to three hours. 2. The default contrast is a very clear white text on a black background. A setting called "light theme" will toggle that to black text on a white background. My sighted wife says it is a much easier screen to see than the Apple calendar. 3. You can set a default GPS app for locations. You have a choice of Apple Maps or Google Maps. So, if you have an address in the location field you can open a GPS app directly from the appointment. There are others dealing with reminders and the day ticker view, but those are a few that I believe are worth highlighting. Not to mention it is nice to find another developer who is quite responsive to feedback and is intentionally taking VoiceOver users into consideration.
