Hello Chris,

I opened the App and there is one notification listed in the notification
section of the app.

When I double-tapped the Messages tab, located just to the left of the
Notifications Tab, I am placed in the messages area where I am told that I
don't have any messages.

F Y I:
When I log into my Facebook account on my PC, and Click the Notifications
icon located in the upper right corner of the browser window, I see the same
notification listed.

Very curious.

There must be some way to clear this area.

Please keep in mind that the icon badge on my phone is no longer saying that
I have one unread notification.

Simply stated, I just like to keep my various lists clear of clutter. And
it seems to me that once a notification has been seen and/or acted upon, one
should be able to delete it; just like we can do with regard to text
messages.

I hope I'm being clear.

All I want to do is clear out old notifications.

Mark

Facebook App

Double tap messages and the notification should go away.

E-mail Facebook and iMessage
