Like you, I thought this intermediate step might have somethin to do
with an Apple restriction, but as you say, BARD books aren't being
purchased.  In addition, one can download a book if it is included in
the "Recently Added" section of BARD without adding it to one's wish
list or performing any additional steps.  Odd indeed.
