Hi Jen,
Just had a look at this. I never use a mood message which is why I didn't notice this somewhat unconventional behavior. The short of it is that it appears that a double tap in the mood message field does start editing mode, but voiceover doesn't say so. There is also no "Clear All" button as you often find for text fields and a double tap once you are in editing mode does not say "Insertion Point at Start" or "Insertion Point at End". The only way I found which reliably clears any existing mood message is as follows: 1. Double tap on the mood message field to enter editing mode. 2. Turn the rotor to "Edit" and swipe up or down until you come to "Select All"; double tap it. 3. Find the Delete button at the bottom right of the virtual keyboard above the Enter key and double tap it; your mood message is now deleted. 4. Type a new moode message or, if you don't want to have one, leave it blank. 5. Find the "Save" button at the top right of the screen and save your new mood message or save without a mood message. I have 2 Skype accounts and I logged in to one on the computer while I was logged in to the other on my iPhone and this does work well. Changing my mood message or leaving it blank resulted in it getting updated in the contact list on my PC within seconds. Hi, I am wondering how I change my mood message on the iPhone in skype? I've gone in where it is and double tapped to edit but there's no way to clear it and then all I get is pasted but there's nothing to paste. Any tips?
