Hi I was getting that message so this was good info to have. many thanks for
posting it. I tryed to update my version of the app and couldn't download it
I got the message that the facebook app couldn't be downloaded at this time.

I'm not certain if this has been posted but just in case it has not, as of
the date and time of this post, the most recent version of the Facebook
app,
version 6.7.1 will not download from the app store. Apparently, Facebook
submitted a corrupted cover art image with the app and the Apple servers
are
not happy about it.
So, should you, like apparently thousands of people around the world,
attempt to update your current version of the Facebook app and get an
update
error message, just close the Dialog box containing the error message and
then cancel the download. This will allow you to continue to use your
currently installed version of the app.
