Sieghard, unfortunately i don't think the standard tripod will work in
this sense. Unless we get a tripod that can connect to an Apple 30 pin
adaptor or a lightning adaptor.
If you have sdeddy hand, use your elbow as a tripod, or have your hand
leaning against something.
I don't think it is fair to even think of, or consider it is developer
responsibility to make sure you take good pictures.
If you want to photo a label of something, take a box of cornflakes,
for example, have your third finger tip on the middle left edge of the
box, and use your wrisk as a tripod for your phone, while using the
other hand taking the photo. with good light setting, e.g. natural
light, or have your kitchen light turn on, you will have 8 out of 10
chance to have the front photo of the box.
If, you want to take the whole box, use your third finger tip on the
edge of the box, and place the camera on your elbow lenth. Again, with
proper lighting, e.g., natural light source or have the light turn on,
again, you will have 7 or 8 out of 10 times to be accurate and visible
enough for other to identify the object.

For those that is looking for alternative to Tap Tap See, you can try
apps like VizWiz, or, you can simply take the photo and send it to
your friend or social media to ask for help.
