Hello Les and Melissa,

I use the TV Guide app on a daily basis. I have the latest version running
on iOS 7.0.3.

We, that is to say VoiceOver users, can still change the date and time with
no problem.

The only VoiceOver challenge issue is that the menu button is not properly
labeled. The menu button is located in the upper left corner of the
display. VoiceOver reads this menu as Nav 7 Menu.

To change the date and time of the channel listings grid:

1.
Locate the text that says "Change Date and Time". Even though it does not
read as a button, it is, in fact, a button. This text/button is located
just below the iOS Status line near the center.

2.
Perform a single-finger double-tap on the "Change date and time"
text/button. Visually, doing this causes the Change date and time tickers
to appear in the same location as the software keyboard, when sending a text
message. That is to say, the lower half of the display. At the same time,
the upper part of the screen is nearly dimmed. It's a cool effect.

If, however, you touch the upper part of the screen, while using VoiceOver,
VoiceOver will read the channel grid in that area because, technically, it
is still being displayed.

All VoiceOver users need do is simply place focus in the lower half of the
display and they will have complete access to the ticker. Once the desired
settings are configured:

3.
Simply double-tap the Go button which is located in the same location as the
Send button, when sending a text message.

Finally, double-tapping an actual channel number in the grid will take you
to that single channel's upcoming programming.

Good Luck and Enjoy,

Mark

There was an update on Friday for the TV Guide app, which set some of their
accessibility back a few steps. Since this update, moving backwards in the
days listings doesn't seem to work, and it does keep refreshing,
particularly when one tries to move backwards in the listings.
You used to be able to change the date and time listing you are viewing by
double tapping on the time in the top center of the screen. This would
bring up a selection list, where you could swipe up or down with one finger
to change the setting.
By double tapping on a channel's name/number, you can view listings
specifically for that channel for several weeks ahead.
Warm regards,
Melissa

I have the latest update running under IOS 7.03. I can only view the
current day's program. Is there a way to change the date being viewed?
Also, I recently noticed that while swiping through the day's events, the
screen often refreshes and I am taken back to the beginning of that day's
listing. Can this be eliminated? Thanks.

Les
