Hello All, I want to make this point no matter which barcode scanner one will use on the phone. An understanding on where one would look for a barcode on different products is essential to be successful. I haven't had a chance to play with Red Laser yet, I'm very profficient in using Digit-Eyes. I know that on Digit-Eyes website, there is a link discussing barcode placement on various products. This may give one a better understanding on where to start.
Now, I will tell you about some differences between the two apps. With Digit-Eyes, one can print out their own labels to use with many purposes. For me, my work entails generating files and paperwork that I need to keep. So, this feature is necessary for me. Also, one can purchase laundry labels that are waterproof, which can be affixed to the labels on clothing or kitchen containers that are reusable. I just wanted to point these differences out, so if one needs the ability to create labels that DigitEYES has this feature. HTH.
