Brent, I looked through the settings area and besides the other suggestions which folks have made, about the only thing left to do is to attempt to change gender and see if that helps. Good luck.

I am not sure if I might have some defective hardware but the speaker on the 5s sounds quite a bit different than the speaker on my 5. Not in a good way either. With voice over and SIRI it is robotic where the iPhone 5 quality sounds like a real person. The voice over and over all volume seems to be quieter also. Definitely not as crisp and as clear as the iPhone 5. Has anyone else experienced this or is this just normal for the new 5s? It took me so long to get this phone that it's probably going to be another month to get a replacement. Anyone have any thoughts or observations on this? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks.
