If you have a Dropbox account, you could drop the zip file in your Dropbox folder and then use whichever app you are reading the books with to open the zip file which will extract the files needed into the app so you can read the book. Since you didn't say which app you are using, I won't go into detail. This has been discussed quite a lot so you could probably find it fairly quickly in the archives. The other way is to use iTunes File Sharing to add the file to the app you are using. If you don't know about File Sharing in iTunes, again, there has been lots of discussions and you could find the instructions in the archives and probably just by googling it or searching on www.applevix.com I'd be surprised if someone hasn't posted a guide on applevis.
