As I recall, the moffi battery has a 1500 MAH battery and that really should
only take an hour and a half. Coupled with the phone battery you are
looking at a complete charging time of 3 and a half to 4 hours. Sometimes
less depending on how far discharged they both are.

Hi Robert,
The switch toggles between your phone battery and the one in the Mophie. I
can't remember which position the switch needs to be in to use the Mophie
battery. However, when you flip the switch, you will hear a sound. Also, you
can check the battery status on your phone. When the Mophie is charging your
phone, you should hear, "battery charging." I can't remember how long it
takes to charge. My experience is, yes the unit will get a little warm when
it is plugged in.
