I've read on Twitter earlier from TweetList that they are stopping development on the older version of the app due to lack of resources. They will continue doing updates for TweetList 4. Also, apparently you can get push notifications through Boxcar with TweetList 4, for whatever that's worth. I don't use TweetList for notifications, but I know some do.
