Another thing I do when I set the timer to stop reading, is I 3-finger double tap to disable speech. This way when the timer goes off and reading stops, the announcement does not wake me, if I happen to have fallen asleep.

I'm not sure if it started out in the Utilities folder or not, but if that's where you find it then yes, that's the app. You can also get to it through the control Center. To set the timer, you need to double tap on the Timer tab on the bottom of the screen. You use the pickers to set how much time you want to elapse and then pick an alarm or stop playing option when the timer goes off. When you double tap the start button, you should see the time start to tick down. > On 11/21/2013 08:50 PM, Patti Johnson wrote: > when you're talking about the timer in the clock app, you're referring to the > clock that's in the utilities folder, am I right? > I didn't know how that worked, how to set it. > All I saw was numbers, I think up to 24 hours. > Was I looking in the wrong place? > Patti > -- Christopher (CJ) chaltain at Gmail -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
