Hi Mary, Joanne, Andrew, David, and Others, As far as I know, the Nook App is only available in countries where the Nook device can be purchased in stores. That means the U.S., where the Nook is sold in Barnes and Noble's brick and mortar stoes, and the U.K., where Barnes and Noble arranged for the John Lewis stores to sell the Nook just a month or two before the Nook app was made accessible. I posted this information a year ago to the Mac-access list, which is hosted in the U.K., along with a quote from the Wall Street Journal that mentioned how Barnes and Noble was extending its presence in the U.K. through their arrangement to have the John Lewis stores sell the Nook. Their are no stores in Canada so the Nook app isn't available in that store.
