Yes, I know. I thought it would be something like that. I just wanted to make sure. Its too bad apple hasn't made a method for away to identify separate devices on the same apple id for facetime/imessage usage.

The end result is that you can purchase apps just once for all iPads involved, but each will be able to be used for Facetime and iMessage as long as each has their own Apple ID.
