Hello all, I am hoping someone can help solve a problem I am having with my POP3 email account I have set up on my iPhone. My Internet provider is road runner, and they currently do not offer imap options for your email on mobile devices. POP3 is the only way you can set it up on your device. This is in accordance to what their customer service told me.
I can download my email to my phone, go through and read and delete what I do not want, then a little later open it again to check my mail, and I have noticed I download the same messages I deleted in the previous session. Now I did go into Settings / mail / my road runner account / Advanced, and check the following settings: Move discarded messages into: Deleted mailbox Remove deleted messages: after 1 day Delete from server: When removed from Inbox In accordance to my settings, when I delete a message on my phone, it should also delete it from the server. But it seems that this is not happening. Is there something I am missing, or something that anyone knows that I could do to help solve this problem I am having?
