I was just looking through the recently added books on my computer and found they have the commercial edition of The Goldfinch. I've been interested in that book since it has received many great reviews and was considering buying it from Audible when I was pleasantly surprised this morning to find it in the recently added books. The book was just released on October 22, 2013. So, in less than two months, NLS has managed to make the commercial recording available to their patrons. In spite of the problems the app is having this weekend, I just wanted to mention here that NLS deserves huge kudos for taking this approach to building their collection.
