Hi Bill,

I feel pretty comfortable saying that if you had set up your iPhone 4S
completely as a new phone and started from scratch you would have had no
problem. I ran iOS 7 starting mid August with the last Beta version, then
upgraded to the public release and I never noticed a slow-down in anything
except maybe the initial opening of an app which may have taken a second or
2 longer.

On an iPhone 4 you could notice a bigger speed difference although it has
gotten better with the updates. I recently read that iOS 7.1 runs much
faster on an iPhone 4 and it seems that it runs just as well as iOS 6 ever
did. A Beta of iOS 7.1 has been available to developers for about 3 weeks
now and the feedback I have seen is pretty good.

I usually follow the messages quite carefully and most people who had a 4S
felt it ran the same with iOS 7 as it did with iOS 6. I don't know if you do
the basic housekeeping tasks before upgrading such as making sure all apps
are closed in the app switcher, doing a reboot of the phone etc., but had my
4S been sluggish after the upgrade I would have just redone the upgrade and
set up the phone as a new device, this usually fixes any issues and issues
can occur if you restore from a backup.

Regards,

Sieghard

I cannot speak to the iPhone 4 but on my 4s it was bad. I sold my 4S. This
is just my opinion but I would not upgrade to 4 to iOS 7.

Bill

Guys,
I have an iPhone four. Currently, I'm using iOS6. I would like to use
iTunes radio on my iPhone. Have any of you upgraded an iPhone 4 to iOS7? Can
you recommend a link where I could learn more about the things that iPhone
for can't do with iOS7? Are there any real problems using iOS7 on iPhone for
as opposed, say, two of 4S or a five?

Thanks for any information.
Kevin
