I guess this is Apple’s doing. Offering iTunes Radio for free probably means a lot of people are cancelling paid subscriptions to other services.

If I'm reading the above correctly, the app also sounds like it does more on a tablet than on an iPhone. I know there are Spotify users on this list so I thought I'd pass this on.
